Course Rules
- BALL PLAYED AS IT LIES (RULE 13): The ball must be played as it lies, except as otherwise provided in the Rules.
- BALL LOST OR OUT OF BOUNDS (RULE 27): If a ball may be lost or out of bounds, the player should play a provisional ball in accordance with rule 27-1. If the ball is indeed lost or out of bounds, the provisional ball would become the ball in play under penalty of stroke and distance. If the original ball is lost or out of bounds and a provisional ball was not played, the player should proceed under stroke and distance by playing a ball from the spot where the original ball was last played in accordance with rule 27-1a. Rule 27
- DOUBT AS TO PROCEDURE (RULE 3-3): If a player is doubtful of their rights or the correct procedure during the play of a hole, they may, without penalty, complete the hole with two balls. The competitor MUST report the facts of the situation to the Committee before turning in their score card. If the player fails to do so, they will be disqualified.
- WATER HAZARDS AND LATERAL WATER HAZARDS (RULE 26) Rule 26-1
- EMBEDDED BALL (RULE 25-local rule in effect): A player my take relief from an embedded ball through the green. A ball that is embedded in it own pitch-mark in the ground may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned and dropped as near as possible to where it lay but not nearer to the hole. Rule 25-2
- WOOD CHIPS AND MULCH (LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS-RULE 23): Wood chips and mulch are considered loose impediments. Except when both the loose impediment and ball lie in or touch the same hazard, any loose impediment may be removed without penalty.
- FLOWER BEDS (ABNORMAL GROUND CONDITION - RULE 25): Enclosed decorative flower beds are considered ground under repair in which free relief is granted.
- SIGNING AND RETURNING SCORE CARD (RULE 6): After each hole the marker should check the score with the competitor and record it. After completion of the round, all players must verify their hole by hole scores have their marker sign the scorecard, sign the score card themselves, and turn in the score card to the scoring area.
- PACE OF PLAY: Pace of play will be 16 minutes per hole (4 hours 48 minutes).
