Ride The Bus To Austin With Us!!!

Dallas / Ft. Worth Community Associations Institute will be going to the 2019 TCAA Day at the Capitol Rally on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.  This is the date when we would normally hold our monthly luncheon, so we hope you will save room on your calendar to join us!  Participation in this event is good for 2 CEU hours!!!

Our chartered bus will have TWO pick up stops before heading to Austin. Please see the tentative schedule below:

6:00 AM   Pick up and get on the Bus at Stop #1: 
     Excel Association Management, AAMC | 1916 K Ave, Plano, TX 75074
     (Depart by 6:30 AM)

7:00 AM   Pick up and get on the Bus at Stop #2:
     Worth Ross Management, Co. AAMC | 4144 N Central Expy #580, Dallas, TX 75204
     (Depart by 7:30 AM)

11:00 AM   Approximate arrival time to the TCAA Rally Rendezvous point in Austin!
(First United Methodist Church on the northeast corner of Lavaca Street & 13th Street, on the west side of the Capitol in downtown Austin.)

     • 11:30 - 11:45 AM Schedule overview for legislative.

     • 11:45 AM - 12:30 PM  Lunch will be provided and team leaders will have an in-depth opportunity to brief their teams during lunch.  Regional leaders, lobbyists and PR team will be available to answer any questions.

     • 12:30 PM: Walk in teams to South Steps of Capitol

     • 1:00 - 1:30 PM  Rally/Press Event on South Steps of Capitol
     After the rally, teams will enter Capitol for scheduled legislative visits.   We will lead some members to the West Side entrance of the Capitol and others can enter though the South Entrance. This will make our entry into the Capitol faster.

     • 1:45 - 4:15 PM  Legislative Visits (maps and schedule provided on-site)

4:15 - 4:30 PM Teams return to Church, gather their belongings and depart

8:00 - 8:30 PM   Approximate return to stop #2 (Worth Ross Management)

9:00 - 9:30 PM   Approximate return to stop #1 (Excel Association Management)
