Billy Abernathy | CATS

Billy Abernathy is the President of Community Association Technical Services and brings 25 years of experience in information technology, with deep expertise in systems management and cybersecurity. He started his career helping to modernize NTTA's IT operations before moving on to global operations at companies like Mary Kay, Pier One, Texas Capital Bank, and Goldman Sachs. This breadth has given him a rare perspective on securing and managing IT infrastructure at every scale, from community-focused operations to the demands of a global enterprise. Today, as President of Community Association Technical Services, he draws on that experience to help communities and the business partners that serve them build, secure, and maintain the systems they depend on—keeping critical infrastructure reliable while defending it against an ever-evolving threat landscape.
