Our Program Topic Will Be:
"The State of the Community Association Housing Model"
Community association leaders are navigating major issues; including the aftermath of a polarizing election, COVID realities and fatigue, and a hopeful 2021. We’ll discuss the state of the industry today and tomorrow.
Our Presenter Will Be:
Dawn Bauman, CAE
Dawn Bauman is Senior Vice President, Government & Public Affairs of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and has been a non-profit executive for more than 17 years. Dawn has served as chief executive officer of the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (USPRA) and executive director of National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM).
Dawn has dedicated her entire career to the practice of non-profit management and has extensive experience with non-profit organizations and associations. She began her career with the American Cancer Society and later built a successful association management company where she served non-profit associations including; The ALS Association (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) Arizona Chapter, Phoenix Committee on Foreign Relations, National Society of Fund Raising Executives - Arizona Chapter, Arizona Association of Defense Counsel and Volunteers of America. Dawn has learned through experience that the key to success is surrounding yourself with excellent people. She now shares her wealth of experience with associations and non-profits throughout the country finding them outstanding professional staff.
Dawn holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and has earned the prestigious Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. She holds a membership with the American Society of Association Executives and the Center for Association Leadership.
